The Opportunity We’re looking for a founding full-stack developer to help architect and scale the backbone of Chaotix AI. This is a hands-on, high-agency role at the edge of creativity and real-time AI. You’ll be one of the first engineers on the team—designing core infrastructure, shaping product direction, and building systems that power a radically new interface for internet-native creation. What You’ll Build - Game Engine Infrastructure: Real-time integrations between generative AI pipelines (image, text, code) and game rendering logic - Backend Systems: Scalable, performant APIs in Django to support creation, sharing, multiplayer, and live collaboration - Infra at Scale: Firebase for real-time data sync and Celery for async compute pipelines - Mobile-Optimized Web: Lightweight, responsive frontends in Next.js that feel magical even on low-end phones - Internal Tools: Game editing UI, analytics dashboards, and ML-powered moderation systems Tech Stack - Backend: Python, Django, Celery - Frontend: TypeScript, React, Next.js - Infra: Firebase, GCP - AI/ML: Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, LangChain (nice to have) You Might Be a Fit If You… - Own the Stack: 3+ years building production systems across the backend, with experience pushing code to real users - Build Fast, Think Deep: You ship MVPs quickly but care deeply about product craft and performance - Are Startup-Native: You’ve built in small teams and thrive with autonomy, ambiguity, and speed - Are AI-Curious: You’re excited about generative AI and want to build creative tools, not just ML models - Think Like a Founder: You want to work closely with the CEO and help shape not just code, but culture and company direction
